Anybody who knows me is well aware that beer is one of my absolute favorite beverages, to shoot and to enjoy after a good gig. Years back when I thought of clients I would love to work with, Stella Artois was always among the top of my list – beautiful aesthetics, clean lines, a clear visual identity & excellent beer. I’m very happy that I now got to collaborate with Stella on their Global Holiday Ad Campaign. It was as much fun shooting the dancing chalices and bottles as it was to scream STELLLAAAAAAA all day long, trying to impersonate Marlon Brando in ‘A Streetcar Named Desire.’ It easily turned into one of the most enjoyable assignments of the year.
I love to travel and when I’m not shooting stills, food or liquids in New York, you’re likely to find me near a beach, mountain or hot spring somewhere on this planet. The lovely people of Erwin Penland let me combine my stills of the new TUMI v3’s with travel imagery for our latest job with TUMI. An absolute pleasure to work with the whole EP creative team, especially Dana Kandic, art producer extraordinaire!

Anheuser-Busch launched its first hard root beer and I had the privilege of creating the initial campaign for Best Damn Root Beer / BDRB. The alcohol content of this root beer was at the heart of the brief and producing visuals that speak to brewing (brewing cellar / sumptuous foam) were a requisite for this series.
Handcrafted tea, organic ingredients and real ice – a delicate and visually lyrical approach for the new Pure Leaf / Tea House Collection campaign, by Pepsi-Lipton. To highlight craftsmanship and quality, we decided to shoot on a tea master’s work bench – a beautiful piece of white washed ash. We sent out two food styling teams to gather wild blackberry bushes in Upstate New York & Western Pennsylvania and our dedicated prop stylists and producers embarked on a round the globe journey for in-season White Honeysuckle. How we finally found it merits a separate post; all I can say it was incredible and worth all the effort! Thanks to Makoto Aoki at Swell for having the ‘back-up hand made super gorgeous White Honeysuckle’ ready, just in case.
Matthew Kenney’s latest venture opened its doors in February of 2016. Plant Food & Wine is a beautifully designed space with indoor and outdoor seating, situated in the artsy Wynwood district of Miami.
