Gourmand International Cookbook Awards 2019

WHO IS COMING TO MACAU WITH ME…? Our book ‘PLANTLAB’ has received the Gourmand International Cookbook Award 2019 for both Best Food Photography (USA) and Best Vegan Cookbook (USA). The book will now represent the United States at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in July of 2019 in Macau in those two categories… I know, I know – even though my son is half Swiss and half Japanese, he is 100% American and can chant USA, USA at the awards ceremony next summer. ☺

The following two lists shall be framed in our kitchen, covered with vegetable juice splatters, wild residue from my clumsy attempts at making the recipes of PLANTLAB. My sincere thanks and heartfelt congratulations to my fellow collaborators, exceptional author & culinary entrepreneur Matthew Kenney, brilliant chef and stylist Scott Winegard, gifted designer Richard Ljoenes and publisher Judith Regan of Regan Arts / A Phaidon Global company – Phaidon.com
